Orthopedic Manual Therapy Specialists Testimonials
I never really write reviews, but am doing it now because I so appreciate all he has done for me. Thanks
Dr. Cooper is amazing. To perform at peak levels an athlete needs to train. Often resulting in injuries and broken kinesiology. It makes all the difference to have a great doctor that knows how to keep you going. Dr. Cooper is that Doctor, knows how to assess the body and movement and get it working again. I never really write reviews, but am doing it now because I so appreciate all he has done for me. Thanks
I’m sure he is great with everyone, but if you are a climber, you should look no further.
Dr. Cooper is a miracle worker. I have gone to a lot of PT’s over the years and he is by far my favorite. I’m sure he is great with everyone, but if you are a climber, you should look no further.
Make this the ONLY PT I will ever go to. Thank you!
Dr. Logan Cooper is hands down the most impressive Physical Therapist I have ever been to! His knowledge in injury management and Kinesiology is amazing. I went to vist Dr. Cooper for a shoulder injury that had me experiencing severe pain and limited range of motion. He took his time to evaluate my body and find both the injury and possible contributing factors. He explained every procedure he was doing and made sure I understood and could follow along. Dr. Cooper understands my lifestyle as an athlete and the importance of getting me back to 100%, this was dramatically different from other PTs I have seen. I can not say enough about my experience at OMT, everything from his friendly staff, to the easy to find location, make this the ONLY PT I will ever go to. Thank you!
He is patient and thorough and clearly loves what he does – we were lucky to find him.
Dr. Cooper is a miracle worker. My son has been struggling with ankle issues for months. We have been to doctors and physical therapists but his issues show no signs of improvement. After one visit, Dr. Cooper diagnosed the issue and developed a treatment plan that showed noticeable improvements almost immediately. I think his special gift is a holistic understanding of how the body works. Instead of focusing on the symptoms he tried to understand the underlying issue causing the symptoms, he then very clearly explained it and was even able to demonstrate how his assessment was correct. He is patient and thorough and clearly loves what he does – we were lucky to find him.
I highly recommend him to anyone in need of treating chronic pain or addressing a particular injury.
I’ve suffered with chronic lower back pain for the last 20 plus years with little to no real relief despite numerous attempts to find a solution. Dr. Cooper really took his time during my appointment and was extremely thorough in his exam and treatment. I felt immediate relief and as the next few days passed I realized that not only had Dr. Cooper addressed my back pain, but also alleviated tension held in other areas that I wasn’t even aware of when I made the appointment. I can not stress enough how wonderful Dr. Cooper is and how much better I feel after just two visits. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of treating chronic pain or addressing a particular injury.
Again… super impressed and I highly recommend Dr. Logan Cooper.
Super impressed and highly recommended!! As a former lacrosse player I used to roll/sprain my ankles pretty frequently. The healing process was never fun and always seemed to take forever. Well, this past weekend I took a spill and had the worst sprain I have ever had. My ankle was very swollen and completely black and blue. Dr. Cooper knew just what to do! With his help I am 5 days out and can walk pain free. I am so impressed with how quickly this has healed! He used some Rock Tape and Dry Needling and not only did the bruising and swelling go down, but I was able to walk comfortably the next day! Again… super impressed and I highly recommend Dr. Logan Cooper.
I’m so grateful for the ongoing improvements I’ve experienced because of his care.
I’ve been treated by Dr. Cooper for 4 years. Having gone to many physical therapists over 20+ years for significant back issues and post operative treatment , I finally found, hands-down, the best physical therapist. Logan doesn’t just treat pain or the problem area. He understands and evaluates how tissues are connected and how, together, they affect movement, pain, and functioning. He stays abreast on the latest studies and treatment modalities and continues to introduce new techniques to help improve my strained muscles, impinged nerves and spinal alignment. I would not see another physical therapist, and completely trust him for my overall wellness. I’m so grateful for the ongoing improvements I’ve experienced because of his care.
I couldn’t say enough about him and am so thankful for his treatment!
I have struggled with upper-trap and neck pain for many years and no physical therapist or chiropractor has been able to make an ounce of difference. When I first went to see Dr. Cooper, I walked out of my session immediately feeling better. I now drive all the way from Charlottesville, VA every few months to see Dr. Cooper because that is how great he is and how much he has been able to help make a huge difference in my pain!! He does not just treat the initial issue/problem, he thoroughly evaluates all the intricacies and connectivity of your body that are causing the initial pain/issue and starts there. Since I travel far to see him, he is always willing to communicate with me via email and send me different stretches to try at home. I couldn’t say enough about him and am so thankful for his treatment!
I experienced absolutely no discomfort at any point. Dr. Wilkinson, you have my heartfelt appreciation.
Five days before a long-awaited trip to the Holy Land with a Rockville church, I woke up with a stiff neck. After suffering for two days and a night with pain that became excruciating, now fearing that the flight would be impossible, I called OMT Specialists and was seen that day. Dr. Wilkinson very gently adjusted and manipulated my neck and showed me a simple exercise to bring relief at home. I left the office much improved and, two days later, set out with my group for the first of two 11-hour flights and a very active visit of about a week. I experienced absolutely no discomfort at any point. Dr. Wilkinson, you have my heartfelt appreciation.
His explanations are clear, thoughtful and based on evidence. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Cooper is a talented, engaging, and knowledgeable professional. My wife and I visit him regularly. He problem solves with you about why your body is sore, what motions are causing it, and how to stretch outside of the office to improve your well being. His explanations are clear, thoughtful and based on evidence. I highly recommend him.
I wouldn’t go to any other PT but him!!!
I endured pain, which limited many of my activities for over 2-years, and I tried many sessions with a chiropractor, 12 acupuncture treatments, 4 epidurals and back surgery, but the most effective treatments are those I’ve received from my physical therapist, Dr. Logan Cooper. His extensive training, experience and knowledge are amazing and he continues to learn new techniques, pain management, manipulation, attends seminars, teaches, etc. Besides his professionalism, he is very personable, listens, evaluates, and his heart is into your wellness–he cares.
Every time I see him, he asks questions, takes notes and evaluates the treatment I need. After I see him, I always feel so much better, whether it was manual manipulation, dry-needling, Kinesiology, cupping, etc. When I saw him a couple of weeks ago, he asked me how I felt and I told him that I’d had a terrible headache for several days, behind my eye/cheek and he even treated that and, I haven’t had a headache since then! I don’t think there’s anything he doesn’t know how to treat!
I feel so lucky that he was recommended to me by my spine/sports medicine doctor. And now, I’ve been given the “green light” to play golf again, after a 2-year hiatus!!! The pain I had over those years prevented me from being able to do that and many other things, but now I don’t have that kind of pain because of Dr. Cooper. I wouldn’t go to any other PT but him!!!
I will be a lifelong patient for all of life’s hiccups and on-the-job strains of being a dental hygienist!
Dr. Cooper is by far the BEST physical therapist I have ever been treated by! His knowledge of body motion and attention to detail are impeccable!
I was sent to Dr. Cooper for him to be part of adjunct temporomandibular joint dysfunction treatment through my TMD specialist. He has been treating me for postural upper back and neck pain for close to a year now. I travel 90 minutes to see him because he is just that amazing! He has fixed things that no one else seemed to address or fix!
The work he does along with his genuine personality are truly astonishing! I HIGHLY recommend seeking out his treatment! I will be a lifelong patient for all of life’s hiccups and on-the-job strains of being a dental hygienist!
Both my wife and I are clients of Dr. Cooper and we both highly recommend him.
I have been seeing Dr. Cooper for physical therapy for over two years for a variety of issues but primarily for recovery from multiple back surgeries. Dr. Cooper is a compassionate, knowledgeable healer. His manual therapy is completely hands-on, is tailored to the individual, and is very effective. At each session, I am greeted warmly and always leave feeling better than I did when I arrived. Both my wife and I are clients of Dr. Cooper and we both highly recommend him.
His exercises work in a short time and effects last after the treatment. Highly recommend Dr. Cooper.
I have been treated by Dr. Cooper for almost 10 years as needed. I feel confident that I will be in good shape to do anything I want because of his advice and treatment. When I am injured he gives me exercises to maximize my recovery and safely and quickly return to activity. He is knowledgeable, listens well and is genuinely passionate about helping others feel and move better. His exercises work in a short time and effects last after the treatment. Highly recommend Dr. Cooper.
I would recommend Dr. Cooper highly for his expertise and diagnosing abilities.
The laser therapy on my wrist has been so helpful. The swelling has gone down and I can see an improvement in the ability to grip. I would recommend Dr. Cooper highly for his expertise and diagnosing abilities.
Dr. Cooper is a miracle worker in my book.
I have worked with doctors for several years trying to get relief for my nocturnal leg cramps. They have prescribed creams, physical therapy, diet and water. Nothing worked. Dr Logan Cooper had me work with the roller site before and after walking and before going to bed. The leg cramps are gone!! This simple treatment could have helped me years ago if I had just gone to right physical therapist. Dr Cooper is a miracle worker in my book.
Dr. Cooper have left me pain-free with a more supple and secure seat. He is a treasure!
My sport is riding horses in dressage. The posture, balance, symmetry, and range of motion of the rider greatly influences the ability of the horse to perform athletically. I found Dr. Cooper through the recommendation of another dressage rider who told me he was the only physical therapist she had encountered who looked at the whole body, not just an injured part. I could not agree more. Rehabbing from a freak accident that broke major bones on both sides of my body, my two years of semi-regular treatments with Dr. Cooper have left me pain-free with a more supple and secure seat. He is a treasure!
I’m doing so much better and have a set of exercises, finely tuned over the course of my visits, that are do-able and helpful. Thank you.
Dr. Logan Cooper is the most gifted, creative and effective physical therapist I’ve ever worked with (and I’ve worked with quite a few). He seems to have a bottomless toolkit and carefully observes and refines his advice at every visit. I saw him once, in person, a few years ago (I live in upstate NY) and that one visit was very helpful. Then, during the pandemic when I’d heard he was offering tele-health visits, I gave it a try for a chronic and nasty neck and trapezius issue that other therapists and chiropractors were unable to help with. I appreciate his persistence. I’m doing so much better and have a set of exercises, finely tuned over the course of my visits, that are do-able and helpful. Thank you.
He definitely warrants 5 stars.
I am most grateful to Dr Logan Cooper for the excellent treatment given me over the past couple of years, in addition to providing continuing advice. It is not just that he is attentive, which is not such a rare trait,.he diagnoses with a fine tooth comb and takes pains to get to the bottom of the problem. always looking to build on previous assessments. The ensuing treatment was highly effective, relieving me of intense pain and getting me back to normal physical activities. Having been told there was no choice but to be operated on by another physician, heading nowhere fast, the chance introduction to Dr Cooper [and Dr Kim for the initial diagnosis] proved to be most fortunate. He definitely warrants 5 stars.
I have recommended him to several friends and they have all had outstanding results.
Dr. Logan Cooper is “hands-on” the best PT I have ever worked with. His diagnostic abilities coupled with his knowledge of manual techniques, stretching and strengthening exercises, and his use of additional modalities (including laser, taping and dry needling) combine to exceptional treatment and results. I have seen him for over 5+ years for a variety of injuries and muscular imbalance issues including neck, shoulder, back, and knee problems. He is able to pinpoint the problem and design a treatment protocol that provides relief and resolution. He graduated from one of the best PT programs in the country and now teaches graduate classes for that same program.
This year I had my first tele-visit appointment and I must admit I was very skeptical at first about being able to alleviate my problem without a hands-on treatment. My continual neck pain and resulting headaches finally convinced me to try one session. I was so impressed with how much he could diagnose and treat with recommended release, stretching and strengthening exercises — all over the internet! He was able to demonstrate what he wanted me to do and then watch me do it to make sure I was doing it correctly. I am now a believer that this works and I’m continuing to treat myself as I was taught with much relief.
I highly recommend Dr. Cooper. I have recommended him to several friends and they have all had outstanding results.
I can’t recommend him enough!
I have been seeing Dr. Cooper for about 4 years now for treatment with a TMJ disorder concurrent with my TMJ doctor. I have been dealing with this condition for almost 10 years now and Dr. Cooper helps so much with pain management/alleviation, aligning or re-aligning of cranial bones, spine, etc. He practices different modalities such as manipulation, laser therapy, dry needling, always changing things up.
I have learned, there is no pain he will not address! He’s also helped me with random foot pain, calf pain, shoulder pain, etc. He’s a wizard at getting to the root cause and “unsticking” things that get stuck! He’s a good listener, attentive, and really bright! I consider his care to be part of my ongoing wellness as he helps me stay mobile and functional, even driving 60 miles one way to be seen. I can’t recommend him enough!
I highly recommend Dr. Cooper.
Dr. Cooper is an outstanding expert in manual manipulation therapy and other certified techniques. He treated me successfully in 1-2 sessions for my shoulder and hip pain which I had for over a year. He diagnosed the issues quickly and accurately and then treated me with the proper manual manipulation. My physical conditions are corrected with also his prescribed exercise. He is very communicative and attentive to my concerns and needs. I highly recommend Dr. Cooper.
He is undoubtedly the very best and most caring therapist I have ever had.
Dr, Cooper has spent the last fifteen years resolving my issues with two replacement knees, spondylolisthesis, severe sciatica, two herniated discs, spinal compression, disc compression fractures and recovery from two torn rotator cuffs. I now visit him four times each year for a “tune-up” (sometimes with follow-up visits), always feeling better and walking better when I leave. His help has permitted me to continue heavy landscaping activities and single-handing a large sailboat boat into my eighties. He always provides suggested exercises to promote improvement. I cannot recommend him too highly. He is undoubtedly the very best and most caring therapist I have ever had.
We continue to stay in touch and update him with her successes.
Dr. Cooper is the best PT that has ever treated my daughter . She saw him originally for shin splints that had been plaguing her for 2 years . She had already seen a few therapists prior to seeing Dr. Cooper and he was able to figure out what was causing the problem almost immediately . Within a few visits he was able to teach her how to easily change her running style so that she could run without shin pain. She continued to see Dr. Cooper periodically as she continued to play soccer during her high school career . He was able to help with any minor strains that she acquired during games so that she was able to continue to play . His attention to detail and thorough use of appointment time made him invaluable. Additionally he provided a great deal of flexibility with appointment scheduling – which was critical for a high school student athlete. She is now playing in college and Dr. Cooper was instrumental in her getting to that level. Most importantly, he cared about her success not only as a patient but as a person . We continue to stay in touch and update him with her successes.
But who works to keep you in motion throughout the healing process.
I am a rock climber and suffered a chronic high hamstring injury for several years. I saw Dr. Cooper for a few sessions and went from not climbing at all for a number of months to spending a month climbing in Greece and climbing some of my hardest climbs. Dr. Cooper is amazing at diagnosing and treating in a holistic way – looking at the mechanics of body movement and pinpointing the source of the problem that creates the pain. He then gives exercises that trains/re-trains the body to move in a more efficient and healthy way. Dr. Cooper is also a climber and is well read in climbing specific injuries as well as a runner and cyclist. I highly recommend Dr. Cooper not just for rock climbers but for athletes in general who really don’t want to take time off, as is the more traditional advice given, but who works to keep you in motion throughout the healing process.
His friendly staff always helps to get you the quickest appointments and help with your insurance plans.
Logan Cooper has completely changed my life. I started going to him 2 years ago for severe back, neck and shoulder pain. At the time I was using a walker and had limited range of motion. As of today I’m able to go to the gym, get around with limited assistance, and live life again. He is the best therapist I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to a lot), and his knowledge is beyond amazing. His friendly staff always helps to get you the quickest appointments and help with your insurance plans.
I would recommend him to any of my friends and family!
I was having hip pain while training for a half marathon and a friend suggested I see Dr. Cooper. I saw him at the Tyson’s location, he was able to diagnose the problem and give me some workouts/stretches to strengthen my muscles. I have never felt more comfortable in a doctor’s office before. It is obvious that Dr. Cooper knows what he is doing and does a great job of explaining things along the way. He is attentive and listens to his patients and creates an easy going atmosphere. I would recommend him to any of my friends and family!
I’ve strongly recommended him to other friends and colleagues, and would do so again!
I came to Dr. Cooper after a shoulder injury. He was able to help reduce my pain and give me a set of exercises to help prevent re-injury, allowing me to go back to work as a climbing guide without having to miss any trips. He is knowledgeable, kind, and a skilled practitioner. I’ve strongly recommended him to other friends and colleagues, and would do so again!
